I received a check from Virgin Mobile USA sweepstakes?

all right is this crap or what?


i received a check in the amount of 2850


but this is real check not fake one i mean with all real numbers and signature.


So they say i won and bla bla so i am thinking should i cash this check??? or what?

I received a check from Virgin Mobile USA sweepstakes?
I RECEIVED THE CHECK AND LETTER AND DID SOME RESEARCH AND EMAILED THE MEDIA RELATIONS AT VIRGIN MOBILE ABOUT IT. THEY REPLIED "this is not this is not anything that Virgin Mobile USA is running. We'll be in touch with you shortly." and "I can assure you this is a bogus contest and unrelated to Virgin Mobile USA. We are currently investigating the source."
Reply:I also received a notification with the same amount with a real looking check. I deposited, but did not wire money to the "agent" because the check received may be "stopped" and then I would be out a nice chunk of change. I called the company to verify the validity of the results and am now waiting for a call.

Reply:I received the same check, and when I called the number to the alleged Oprah show summer sweepstakes center the girl told me to deposit the check and wait for it to clear %26amp; then call her back and they would assign me a tax agent(whom I would pay the money to). I told her that I was very skeptical and that I would show this to my attorney for verification before I deposited anything, and she was like that would be fine. Please when someone finds out exactly what this is please advise.
