Every now and then I answer a survey, then get inundated with junk mail, - free this, win this.
Does anyone acutally win these.??
I have never been patient enough to actually finish one of the surveys??!! Anyone actually finsh them or win anything online? Thanks
Has anyone actually won the on-line give-aways, like the solicitations from stores, or sweepstakes, $10,000 ?
i've came close to finishing electronic stuff,.. but i wasn't sure about me giving my credit card number to those people.., I SAY IT SUX.. and now, all i get is like 5,000 e mails in under 3 hrs..... i have to stay up l8 and make sure it stays at a minimum
Reply:It depends on the size of the company doing the promotion. Companies such as Mc Donalds, Coca Cola, or radio stations, 100% of the time give away their prizes.
The only time there would be a situation where there was no prize is when they have Monopoly at Mc Donalds and nobody is able to get both Park Place and Board Walk.
But on the other hand, I used to work for a company that used to get a booth at the local home and garden show. Every few weeks you would see them there with a 50 inch plasma Tv with a sign to enter a contest to win the television.
You put your name to enter the contest, and the only thing that will happen is that the company will solicit you after the show to get you to sign up for something.
As far as other contests they have like making a basket from half court during a basketball game to win $100,000, those are actually true, however the company sponsoring the contest buys an insurance policy. They might pay lets say $25,000 to the insurance company, and then if the person makes the basket the insurance company would pay the other $75,000.
Even when a radio station says be caller #5 to win, its just a random caller they pick from their phone system, but atleast you have a chance of winning them if your quick to dial :)
