Have you ever met a Christian who won a lot of money with sweepstakes?

Most Christians don't believe gambling is right, to which I agree. But what about entering free sweepstakes?

No. Actually, I've never met anyone at all who won a lot of money with sweepstakes.

Reply:Yep. A girl I went to school with her parents won a million. This girl had had a handicapped daughter who would need care all her life and they immediately set up some sort of trust that she would always be taken care of. This was not a wealthy family and that money was a real blessing.

Reply:yes. I have heard of quite a few and most Christians gamble on lottery tickets and slot machines and sweepstakes and bingo and other events that sponsor gambling.
Reply:the Jews cast lots for their land (lottery?) farmers gamble when they plant seed each year





Gambling is bad when it is abusive...depriving food from your family or compulsive when it is more important to you than Jesus





(by the way i dont gamble...i prefer to use my money to spread the gospel)
