can lottery /sweepstakes etc., be checked for reality or scam ,on a web site./they are saying they are microsoft word sweepstakes and i won the drawing does microsoft have place to check on this to see if it is true ?

Most of the things online are a scam. The best way is just to go to your nearest gas station and pick up the state lottery. But why waste your money on such silly things? Just go buy your self something you like. I mean the chances are like 99.9999999999999999999999999999999999999...
Reply:The problem with online stuff like that is that it says Microsoft but if you ever read the fine print at the bottom it says the Microsoft is a registered trademark and that they have no affiliation with them at all. There just using it but unless you get a direct e-mail from Microsoft don't believe it.
