Has anyone EVER won a Publishers Clearinghouse Sweepstakes??

I enter this stuff everyday and I was just wondering if they ever really give this money to a winner.

That stuff has been around since the 70's. I used to enter it "religiously" for about 5 years, into the 1980's. Finally the light went off in my head, telling me that it was a crock of S.H.I.T.! The only people they show winning are people who are usually one step from death. Yes that old, and the names they come up with are questionable as to their validity. I figure that they want to pay someone who is not going to be around to spend all of it. Occasionally, I purchased some magazine subscriptions from them, which is all they really wanted. So, don't waste your time or get your hopes up. Now if you want to use them for magazine purchases, then knock yourself out!
Reply:You have never been so right on bout Publishers Clearing House,all they want is for you to order something.I entered this thing for over six months....every single day! August 06 to Feb 07 and i didn't win a penny,i think the people they advertise as winners are people they paid to say they won. Report Abuse

Reply:Beware of PCH...their merchandise is junk..shipping and handling cost more than the junk they sell. Report Abuse

Reply:Sure, don't you watch the commercials. They make it look as though everyone gets to win, in reality the big winners are every month or so, it is actually about every five years. They have multiplr games going at the same time. You can win a level one year and all that does is allow you to enter again.

Reply:Not in the real world. The money "saved" is only saved if the magazine is something that you can gain knowledge from, and use that knowledge. That is the real prize. If it is only to look at the pretty pictures, and you get enjoyment from the pictures then it could be considered a bargain. If they are only to take up space in your home and collect dust then it is a waste of money. That is just my opinion. Thanks.
