Does anybody know who won the publishers sweepstakes for Oct 12, 2006?
How ironic. I just did a search for this scam and this came up. They just gave me a call telling me I had a chance to be put in a drawing for $50 G's. And I won a diamond watch. As soon as she started asking me questions I returned with a bunch of my own. Yeah, she hung up. If you haven't given them any money yet , DON'T!! Huge scam. Anyone who asks you for money to claim your prize is a scam. Majority of the scams involve magazines that never come. Beware of they usually prey on the old and gullible. Don't give anyone your money. When they start asking you questions, hit them back with some of your own. If you get into asking badge numbers or where they're out of and tell them that this call is being recorded and traced, they'll usually hang up!!!
