Any tips on winning? Any frustrations? Tell me if you won anything! My most recent win (10/13) was from Shape.com: A basket of Mrs. Meyers Clean Day cleaning products (retails at about $40 and was a one time entry)!! My biggest win was my FIRST win way back in 1991. It was a Winston grand prize to drive a funny car or a stock car but I took the 1800 in cash :) After that I was hooked! What's your story?
Does anyone enter sweepstakes and contests regularly like me?
I enter on line contests for one hour every day. I have won 250 dollars, a 50 dollar grocery gift certificate, a cellphone with three months unlimited usage, autographed pics of various celebs, a spa gift certificate, a hundred dollar visa gift card, a basketball jersey, a 500 dollar custom wig (that I will never use, hopefully), free product coupons, itunes, etc.
I got hooked when I was little. I would buy raffle tickets from my grandma and her friends and would win something once a month. The only prize I remember from back then is a set of cookware valued at 500 dollars that my mom got.
The only tip I have is search the Internet for freebie sites that have contest lists, and read the rules. Some contests are one entry only and if you enter again you void the first entry. Lately I seen to have the most luck with the instant win contests where you enter daily. I almost forgot, last week I won a stop watch, a pair of hiking boots and a bicycle. I am waiting on them to come.
Good luck and have fun.
Reply:I enter them all the time. I haven't won anything yet except 10.00 for surveyspot.com. I'm always looking for contest or freebies..I'm so hooked also
Reply:I used to enter anything I could, but I never won anything so I pretty much gave up.
My brother in law won a boat from Albertson's grocery store a few years back, it was one that you filled out the paper at the store and could enter as many times as you wanted, so he took the whole little "book" of papers home, filled them all out and then took them back and entered them all in the little box. It worked for him!
Reply:No sweepstakes... just McDonald's Monopoly.
